Below is a PDF record of the 2022 trip to Oak Orchard that Rusty and Kirk Jeter were on. They can tell you all about it. It is a great trip for those who like to wade. We access the river from the St. Mary’s Archery Club.

They have several hundred yards of property right on the river. They allow us to park on the property for $10 per vehicle and this year they were serving a hot breakfast for $10–Eggs, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Toast, Juice, Coffee. Makes things super easy.

Have Rusty tell you about how we used to have to go down a steep hill, wade a half mile upstream and then stand in the dark waiting for first light to start fishing! The river is very easy to wade, clear and shallow. Lots of sight fishing to BIG FISH.
