Jimmy Jacobs has been fly fishing and reporting on the action in the South for over half a century. He is a 2017 inductee into the Southern Fly Fishing Hall of Fame, headquartered in Swain County, North Carolina, and a member of the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association Hunting and Fishing Hall of Fame. Jimmy is the Editor/Publisher of On The Fly South. He makes his home in Marietta, Georgia, with his English setters Luke and Lulu.

Polly Dean is an award-winning writer and photographer who has fly-fished throughout the South and the Caribbean Islands. She is a member and past president of the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association , and she serves on the Georgia Coastal Resources Division’s Finfish Committee. Polly is the Associate Editor of On The Fly South. She is a resident of Athens, Georgia.

During the November meeting, we usually work as a team to create the draft activities schedule for 2025. At the meeting, we will have tables – each discussing a potential trip for next year to help you decide how you want to participate.
