Rice’s Creek Trip

We will meet at Rice’s Creek boat launch at 10:00. Smaller boats or kayaks can be launched from there. There is good Bass fishing on poppers or streamers. Note from Jim White:

Though I have fished both creeks in Bobby Sand’s 22’ bay boat, it didn’t have a T-top to get hung up in the trees and squeezed through a shortcut.  Kayaks should consider staying in Rice’s Creek simply because it is a long pedal or paddle to Town Creek.  This is a Saturday two days after the Full Moon in May- the best time to catch bream on the beds.  So, there should be a full house on the creek that day – hence the concern about parking.
