October Trout Fishing
Trip is Full
The plans for this fall’s spousal fishing trip have been arranged. It has the potential to be one of our best trips, with great accommodations, walking distance to town, and a freshly stocked river.

The following is a synopsis of the event:
- Arrive Sunday, October 19, and depart as late as Friday, October 24
- The group will stay at the Best Western in Dillsboro, NC
- Other accommodations are nearby include VRBO/AirBnB or camping
- You must make your reservations as soon as possible (this is “leaf season”)
- Most hotels are sold out for weekends and thus our Monday arrival
- Tuck Fly Shop will arrange guides
- Each person will arrange their own fishing option
- Wade in Pigeon, Nantahala or other small mountain streams
- Drift in Tuckasegee
- Drift with a partner or alone
- Drift full-day or half-day
- This week was selected for fishing based on stocking the previous week
- Each person will arrange their own fishing option
- A group dinner on will be arranged
- There are plenty of activities in the area besides fishing for spouses who do not fish
