These two guides did an excellent job of building enthusiasm among member to plan a fishing trip with them and other guides at the end of May, the guides indicated this was one of the best times for fishing the flats of Beaufort, SC.
They indicated it was a great destination with antebellum architecture and much to interest the wives of fishermen. They indicated it was like a small Charleston. It is close to Hilton Head and fly fishers are attracted to their area because of the huge amount of salt water streams to fish either by boat or wading. It encompasses 20% of the eastern seaboard marsh area. They have 8 foot tides since they are near the South Atlantic Bight. They have Red Fish occasional Cobia and Tarpon year round.
